How did I managed to miss this? Thank you hon, it's so beautiful and special

And this is why, Mother Earth, I wept inwardly for thee at the moment of the immense parade called Time: the clowns were passing, and everybody knows that inside, somwhere, their hearts are broken.
you have such a way of making my eyes move...and the figure itself (I see a person in the middle, is that right?) seems to be moving towards strange new territory...you must have a steady hand to get those fine lines so nice. looking forward to the colored version
Interesting how you see her as moving forward. I thought she was standing still, but I do notice now, how that could be. Can you find her pet?
Actually, in addition to her and her pet, there is another being within the image. Try seeing if you can find the second.
The first is ... "natural" for lack of a better term at this point, flowing lines, etc. The second? The second grew on the page as a contrast/opposition ... so see what you think, knowing this.
{{{hug}}} I so look forward to your comments because you always start a conversation!
hahaha, I think it might've been the physical act of my own eyes moving that made me feel like she was moving, because of her wing-looking sides extended, the flowing of the lines, the contrast between the smooth curves on the left and the sharper edges on the right, to which she kinda looks like she's facing...maybe I wanted her to be moving forward? towards the opposition of the 'natural,' that is. the sharp edges seem 'harsh' compared to the curves, like you have to watch your step or you'll fall off them... hahaha, I'm hitting a rough patch in school, I guess I want to find a bit of brave defiance in someone else but standing still is just as vital, perhaps more so. 'thinking before you act' can be more productive than rushing through tough situations, which is something I often do, out of frustration...'nothing to it but to screw it' is a motto of mine
I see teeth in the upper right, and a snout and a triangle that could be an eye, in her line of sight...a dog? awww, forgive me, I can't seem to find the second figure -- I'm even looking at the whole scene sideways in case it's one of those optical illusions
She is winged, and full of motion, usually, but in this moment her face is pressed against the heart of a butterfly, whom she is holding. But gripping the butterfly's wings is a taloned hand, threatening to shred them, and rising from amid the pointed angles and lines is a sharp-toothed creature, who glares toward them both.
It's not about winning or losing, actually, but rather what is. Beauty and peace always seem to be under threat beneath the talons of destruction and blind progression. But you will notice that she is the predominant figure in the image. She's not trying to be, not seeking to take over or fill the frame, but her gentleness wins.
(As the artist, I'm confident that good wins, so I can't help drawing it. *laugh* But good doesn't win by becoming like evil, it wins by remaining good in spite of the attempted invasion of evil.)
