Thanks for the compliment! Yeah. It's a wonderful story, so it was fun to mess with it.

Can feel the tremendous pull of motion towards that poisonous heat in the Smaug's mouth.........awesome! Kudos to your daughter for the agile poses, too :) Very much enjoying all of what I've seen in your gallery here, your front page, and oh so pleased that I took a peek at your blog page. You were recommended in a feature by Maylar. She is absolutely right.....so glad I stopped by to take a look. Keep it up!! :D

Thanks so much for the encouragement! I'm so honored by Maylar's feature. She's my hero(ine?)...

 I'm glad you like this one, since it always gives me that smug sense of fun that comes from contorting a story beyond recognition.

ahahahahaha.........."Contortion" from the original story/source is oftentimes the very root of some of the best humour and delight in life. Yes, I liked it very much, as a dear friend of mine is quite familiar with this type of story, the Hobbit characters, that is. :D

You are so very welcome! It was totally my pleasure and I'm so pleased that I visited your space(s), as Maylar suggested. She is someone whom I intend to keep following, as only discovered her recently too, as with you. Thanks for sharing! Keeping my eyes on You both. :sun: :floating: :D

Thanks. Maylar is certainly worth watching, and I hope to live up to the honor.

You seem to have the same appreciation for the sky as I do. *laugh* I'm enjoying touring your photos. I've been known to stop everything and stare up into the sky, saying, "Wow! Do you see that?" and you have caught many of those moments. Thanks for sharing!

 It's cool you say that about enjoying art because actually this piece brings up fond memories for me. When I was a kid, my class went to a play of The Hobbit -- I was young and hadn't gone to a professional play before and they had this huge dragon jut out from the stage over us and when it 'breathed fire' it was freaking loud and fearsome, and the set was amazing with a luminous moon and I vaguely remember the characters but they were definitely endearing (I hadn't read the books yet). Seeing this piece made me really happy, not just for the memory but because I haven't seen this kind of execution before, it truly is awesome.
